100 boats from Malabar set ashore at Mangalore coast

Around hundred fishing boats belong to Malabar region set ashore today at Mangalore coast.Fishermen in these country boats were unable to reach their native shore as the rough sea waves and weather condition prevailed for long hours.They are staying at Kalvar region near Mangalore port.

Kozhikode district collector U.V.Jose has contacted district collectors of Mangalore regions to arrange facility and assistance to these fishermen who are lacking proper documents required for landing their boats in another state’s shore.
