Despite of intense pressure from College teachers and student community,the Calicut University has reiterated its stand of conducting examinations in the previously scheduled manner.
Thr Controller of Examinations has issued a statement in which,he said there would be no postponement of pre-scheduled examinations.
Self Financing Teachers and Staff Association (SFTCA) said they had approached the university authorities to postpone sixth semester Viva and project submission,and central evaluation camps in the wake of corona spread.
The organization also demanded CMV method in which teachers can bring answers sheets to their home and return after evaluation in a time-bound manner.
However,the university didn’t approve SFCTSA
The university decision seems to be strange at a time even big companies ,globally, suggest work at home option for their staff to fight the deadly virus,say teachers.
