Two more recovered
One person has been diagnosed with COVID 19 and two have recovered as informed by District Medical officer Dr Jayashree V. A 69-year-old resident of Chorodu was diagnosed with the disease. He came to Karippur from Bahrain on May 27 and was rushed to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital upon seeing the Symptoms, he was tested positive. His health condition is stable.
Two people from Kozhikode who were being treated at Kannur General Hospital have recovered. With this the number of recovered people from Kozhikode becomes 28. A total of 59 people have been diagnosed with the disease so far. Currently 31 people are under treatment. Of these, 15 are in Kozhikode Medical College, 13 in First Line Treatment Center Kozhikode Lakshadweep Guest House and 3 in Kannur. A resident of Malappuram, 3 from Kasargod and one from Thrissur are currently undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and one Thrissur resident at MVR Cancer Center.
Today 251 samples have been sent for testing. Out of a total of 4555 samples sent for, 4298 results were obtained. Of these, 4223 are negative. 257 samples are yet to be received.
