Twenty seven fisher men who were stuck in the sea due to the rough waves and heavy wind have been rescued today by the Coast Guard.They have been taken to the Beypore port,safely.
Five of these fishermen belonged to Alappuzha and the remaining people belonged to Kozhikode.
Three missing fishermen from Feroke who stranded in the boat UK Sons returned safely on Beypore port on Sunday.
Bava,Shaji and Jayakumar returned by afternoon.
Bava and Shaji have been admitted to Kozhikode beach hospital.
Meanwhile,a review meeting will be held at Kozhikode collectorate on Monday to take stock of the situation in the wake of Okchi cyclone.
People’s representatives and officials of coastal regions will participate in the meeting.
