67 coronavirus cases reported in Kozhikode;43 through local transmission

67 people were confirmed Covid positive in the district-
43 cases through local transmission
In Kozhikode district today (July 28) 67 more positive cases were reported as informed by  District Medical Officer Dr Jayashree V.
Among these, 13 people came from abroad and 4 people from other states. 43 people were diagnosed through contact and 7 have unknown source.
With this , 688 Kozhikode residents are undergoing treatment fir COVID 19. Of these, 149 are in Kozhikode Medical College, 155 at Kozhikode Lakshadweep Guest House, a first line treatment center, and 173 in Kozhikode NIT FLTC, 58 in Farook FLTC and 131 in NIT Mega FLTC. 11 people are undergoing treatment at a private hospital, 2 in Malappuram, 5 in Kannur, 1 in Thiruvananthapuram, 2 in Ernakulam and 1 at Kasaragod. Apart from this, 16 people from Malappuram, two people from Thrissur, one from Pathanamthitta, one from Kollam, three from Wayanad are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College, and one person from Malappuram, one from Kollam, two from Wayanad, one from Alappuzha and one from Kannur at Kozhikode FLTC, two from Malappuram, two from Wayanad, one from Kannur at Farook FLTC and one person from Kannur are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Omassery – 1 male (56), Edachery 2 male (34,38), Kavilumpara – 1 male (35), Koduvalli – 2 male (34,48), Koorachund – 5 male (49,39,39,33), female (63), Nadapuram – 1 male (27), Purameri – 1 male (38).
Those from other states:
Guest Workers from Tamil Nadu residing within Kozhikode Corporation – 1 Male (21),
Kozhikode Corporation (Areekad) 1 Male (32), Nadapuram – 1 Female (33), Vadakara – 1 Male (45).
