A day remembering road accident victims

Kozhikode trauma care observes a remembrance day by organizing awareness programs and other activities at BEM School,Mananchira..
TRACK (trauma Care society Kozhikode has been in the field of caring and saving lives of accident victims.
The society,an NGO has so far trained 40,876 volunteers.
This year,302 accidents deaths reported in Kozhikode district.The number is 136 in the city limits.
Around 1.50 lakh people are losing their lives in accident deaths in India, according to an official information. Among this 40% are youth under the age of 25.

Kozhikode trauma care has also begun its branches at other districts too.
“As an NGO we have many limitations to go ahead in this segment.
Government should intervene and strict monitoring must be there to avoid accidents.”-said Traumacare representatives Ad.C.M. Pradeep Kumar and Sreesh Kumar.
It is time to remember, Say No to Road Crime is the message of this day.
Rash driving, bad road condition and crowded vehicles are the major reason for road crimes-said Pradeep Kumar.
He also said that minimum age limit for driving license can bring down following foreign countries, where license is given with some restrictions like no night driving etc.This will help to avoid youngsters drive vehicles without license.
