AAP to governor”Oust Chandy” VS to government “Move him out” Minister’s resignation;count down begins
The Aam Admi Party (AAP) has asked the state governor to expel transport minister Thomas Chandy,if he is not doing it by himself.
The party sent a fax message, showing the illegal continuance of the minister.
The memorandum points out Chandy broke the collective responsibility by moving to court against the government machinery,in which he is a stakeholder. It is unconstitutional.-the party said.
The District Collector of Alappuzha had conducted a detailed inquiry regarding the violations by
Water World Tourism Ltd in which Chandy is a major stakeholder. The District collector had
submitted the report to the chief minister.
Meanwhile Kerala High court also lashed out against the minister and asked him to withdraw petition against his own government.
Veteran CPI(M) leader VS Achuthanandan also expressed his annoyance by saying” if the tainted minister is not resigning ,it is necessary to use force.”
The Communist Parry of India (CPI) is also against Chandy continuing in the ministry since allegations against him proved to be true by an inquiry.
