Airtel provides SIM cards at home in Kochi
Aiertel, one of the largest telecom operators in the country, is offering new ‘support services’ to its customers in Kochi by encouraging people to stay home safely to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Although many retail stores in the city have opened, Airtel SIM cards are delivered to customers’ homes by following the protocol of Social Distancing. They also claim to provide with broadband services and DTH connections without interruption at home.
Airtel CEO Gopal Vitale said thet they have a special service for those who are in need and all Airtel field teams are provided with training for delivery and installation in accordance with the touch-free protocol. He also said that Airtel has simplified its digital channels. Mobile/ TV can be easily recharged, bills can be paid, new services can be demanded and if it’s bit possible, complains can be registered about.
With the lifting of restrictions in many parts of the country, there is growing uncertainty, people are still worried about the safety of their loved ones, and are worried about income and employment said Vittal.
Despite of this uncertainty, Airtel ensures that no one is worried about such exchanges. Airtel has taken several steps to ensure its connectivity. Steps have been taken to protect the safety of employees and customers. He added that more than one million customers have enrolled in “Super Heroes” program and all of them are helping millions stay connected.
