Appointment of party relatives challenge to academic democracy – MI Abdul Aziz

Jamaat-e-Islami Kerala Ameer MI Abdul Aziz said that appointing party relatives to positions in universities and other institutions in the state is a challenge to academic democracy. CPM party relatives have become the largest reservation category for jobs. He also said that the Left, which had subverted the reservation through economic reservation, was illegally recruiting its own people. He was speaking after inaugurating the SIO State Leaders’ Meeting.
Solidarity State President Nahasa Mala, Jumail PP, CT Suhaib and Shabeer Koduvalli were present at various sessions of the two-day state leadership meeting held at the Perumpilavu Ansar campus.
SIO All India General Secretary Musakir Ahmad addressed the gathering.
SIO State President Amjad Ali EM presided over the meeting. State General Secretary Anwar Salahuddin delivered the introductory address. SIO state secretaries Saeed TK, Shameer Babu, Sharafuddin Nadvi, Tashreef KP Wahid Chullipara and Rashad VP spoke and the state leadership meeting which started on Saturday morning ended on Sunday afternoon.
