Kozhikode based young danseuse Ardra has been busy shooting her musical album. It’s not just an album, but a dedicated offering to Lord Krishna. The short video is getting ready to release on Sree Krishna Jayanthi .The video song will be available on You Tube.
And,definitely there is a reason behind this offering. Ardra,an ardent devotee of Sree Krishna used to visit Guruvayoor Sree Krishna temple every year. But,Covid 19 pandemic and regulations at the temple makes her unable to visit there and have darshan.
Ardra is a 10 th standard student at Silver Hills Public School in Kozhikode. As she missed Guruvayoor temple pilgrimage, she found solace in creating a dance devotion towards her God.
Ardra says that she has realized the omnipresence of Sree Krishna when she performs the art form, which is a mix of semi-classic in Narayaneeyam and Kathakali. Her obeisance towards Krishna is depicted with a traditional grandeur through out the album.
Background scores with a devotional song sung by K.S Chithra beginning Oru Neramanekilum….
The shooting has been finished at Narikkuni.
Ardra is the daughter of Meledath Gireesh and Greeshma of Malaparambu,Kozhikode.
She started her dance learning since the age of two and made her debut in Bharathanatyam at the age of ten.
Afterwards,she learned Mohiniyattam and Kuchippudi.
She won many accolades such as Nirthakala Vaiabhav an international award,Natwar Gopikrishna National award. Ardra has bagged gold medal in Kuchippudy in the Mumbai All India Dance Festival.
