Aster Medcity launches tele-consultation service

 Enabling patients to consult doctor without any difficulty during the period of lockdown, Aster Medcity, a leading healthcare service provider in the state, has launched tele-consultation service. The patients can book appoints of the doctors by visiting Aster Medcity website or calling at 0484 – 6699999.


“We decided to launch tele-consultation service as the patients have been finding it difficult to consult doctors due to the lockdown. Both existing and new patients can avail the tele-consultation service. But it will be particularly beneficial for the existing patients as they can do follow-ups. In case of emergency, the patients will be asked to visit the hospital,” said Cdr. Jelson Kavalakkat, CEO, Aster Medcity.


The booking can be made by providing email id or mobile number of the patient and selecting the date, time and doctor of their choice. The payment can also be made online. After booking, the patient can consult the doctor through video call at scheduled time. Services of doctors of all the specialties at the hospital have been made available under tele-consultation service. The patients can also send test reports and previous records to the doctor for their perusal, if required. After consultation, prescription with digital signature of the doctor will be send to the patients.
