BJP state president K Surendran said that Finance Minister Thomas Isaac, who is threatening the CAG for exposing the corruption of the state government, should remember that Kerala is in India. Surendran said in a statement that he was trying to insult the constitutional institution like the CAG for exposing corruption. This is not a communist country so that no one can react against the lies of the Left government. When asked about the files, including the Enforcement Life Mission, the government said that the CAG, the constitutional body, was there to examine the financial dealings and legitimacy of government projects and that no investigative agency had the authority to file development projects beyond this principle.
Now it is ridiculous for the finance minister himself to say that the draft report prepared by the CAG that KIFBI loans are illegal and unconstitutional is a coup and a political conspiracy. Whoever comes out against the corruption and fraud of the government is making it a conspiracy against the government. Surendran also asked whether the CPM would be ready to strike against the CAG as it was against the central agencies’ probe. Many of the projects being implemented by Finance Minister Thomas Isaac are massive corruption. Under the guise of the Uralungal Labor Contract Society, ministers and CPM leaders are carrying out hawala transactions and money laundering. There is no auditing or tender process in KIFBI.
KIFBI has become a tool for fraud. Up to Rs 8000 crore projects are being handed over to Uralungal without calling for tenders. If ED investigates KIFBI’s dealings, all of Thomas Isaac’s scams will be exposed. The finance minister was impatient with the discovery of the robberies in KIFBI. Surendran said the revenue and expenditure for KIFBI is a mystery.
