Kerala is the first state in India to become high tech in school education.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared the state as India’s first fully digital in the field of education.
There has been a revolutionary development in the infrastructure of public schools. As part of this, Kerala became the first state to have smart classrooms in all public schools.
In the first phase, 45,000 classrooms in classes eight to 12 were converted to high-tech under the leadership of Kite using Kifby funds. And Little Kites IT. Clubs also started. 11,275 high-tech labs have been set up in primary and upper primary schools.
Labor and Excise Minister TP Ramakrishnan and Transport Minister AK Sasindran were present on the occasion via video conference. 4509 classrooms in high schools and higher secondary schools in Kozhikode district have been converted to high tech. In addition, 420 UP schools and 712 L. P schools have also been converted to high tech. 6069 laptops, 2592 projectors, high speed internet connection are provided in all schools.
Each DSLR camera is equipped with an LED TV, webcam and printers as needed. In addition to the Kifby fund, MP and MLA funds were also allocated for this. Teachers and students were trained at various stages for the effective use of high-tech equipment. Kite has also developed a comprehensive portal with the required e-content. All government and aided schools have been converted to high tech.
Constituency level events were held at selected schools in each constituency. S Vadakara, Balussery-G. H.S. Constituency level programs were conducted at S Kokkallur and Nadapuram-Iringannur HSS.
