Co-operative sector, a boon to Kerala economy

 Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the destruction of cooperative sector through demonetisation of currency could only be restrained through the trust of the public towards this  sector. He was inaugurating Ulliyeri Service cooperative bank. The cooperative sector helped in the distribution of the K.S.R.T.C pension amount, completely.
The social security pensions, which were delayed for years, reached people’s houses through the help of cooperative sector. He stated that the cooperative sector is one of the major economical powers of Kerala and once the concept of Kerala Bank becomes a reality,  it will become a major government economical institution. He also stated that the Institutions of various districts, their cooperative banks and Krishi bhavans could come together and bring massive difference in the Agricultural sector.
Cooperative tourism sector Minister Kadakampally Surendran attended the function. The minister stated that the functions of cooperative banks are ideal and the social groups developed in rural areas are inspirational to the social workers.
The minister also did the inauguration of convention centre cum shopping complex.
Bank Auditorium was inaugurated by M.K. Raghavan M.P. Mini conference hall was inaugurated by Putushan Kadalundy M.L.A. Jilla panchayat president Babu Parasheri accepted the first deposit.  The donation for Lying patients in Balussery was done by V Prathibha. Bank President Ollur Dasan, Secretary Monsi Vargees , Ulliyerib Panchayat President Shaju Cherukavil, K.P. Babu, Various panchayat representatives, cooperate,  Business authorities attended the function
