 In Kozhikode district today (August 3) Covid 19 confirmed to 33 people as informed by the the district medical officer Dr Jayashree V.  29 people were infected through contact.  Two cases were reported in which the source was not clear and two who arrived from abroad.
 With this, 694 Kozhikode residents are undergoing treatment for COVID 19.  Of these, 180 are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College, 73 at First Line Treatment Center, Lakshadweep Guest House, Kozhikode, 108 at Kozhikode NIT FLTC, 50 people in Farooq FLTC , 165 people at NIT Mega FLTC, 61 at AWH FLTC, 43 people at Maniyoor FLTC and 7 people at various private hospitals. Two people are being treated at Malappuram, 3 at Kannur, one at Ernakulam and one at Palakkad.  Apart from this, 26 people from Malappuram, two from Thrissur, one from Pathanamthitta, one from Kollam, three from Wayanad, two from Kannur, three from Palakkad are being treated at the Kozhikode Medical College. Also two people from Malappuram, one from Kollam, two from Wayanad, one from Alappuzha and two from Kannur are being treated at Kozhikode FLTC, one Malappuram resident  at Farook FLTC, one Kannur resident and three Malappuram residents are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
