Covid 19: Covid 19: 50 people infected in the district today

In Kozhikode district, 50 more positive cases were reported today (August 2), as informed by District Medical Officer Jayasree V.
Among the confirmed, two people came from abroad and 10 from other states. 35 positive cases were reported through contact. Three cases with an unknown source have been reported.
With this, 714 Kozhikode residents are undergoing Covid positive treatment. Of these, 130 are at Kozhikode Medical College, 80 at the First Line Treatment Center at Lakshadweep Guest House in Kozhikode and 107 at Kozhikode NIT FLTC,106 at Farook FLTC, 201 people are NIT Mega FLTC and 53 in the AWHFLTC. 27 people in Maniyoor FLTc and 4 in various private hospitals. One in Malappuram, 3 in Kannur, one in Ernakulam and one in Palakkad. In addition, 22 people from Malappuram, two from Thrissur, one from Pathanamthitta, one from Kollam, three from Wayanad, two from Kannur, three from Palakkad are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College. Also two people from Malappuram, one from Kollam, two from Wayanad, one from Alappuzha and two from Kannur are undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Lakshdweep FLTC and two from Malappuram, two from Wayanad, one from Kannur, at Farook FLTC, also one from Kannur and two from Malappuram are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
