Covid -19 ; entry banned at Civil Station in Kozhikode

 64 more Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Kozhikode District on Thursday as informed by the district Medical officer Dr Jayasree V. Fifteen people were cured.

 19) 60 year old man from Villappally
 20) 47 year old native of Vanimel
 21, 22) 44, 57 years old from Maniyur
 23) 57 year old native of Eramala
 24 to 27) 40, 19, 64, 50, year old Vadakara natives
 28 to 32) 39, 40, 65, 46, 60 year old Vadakara natives
 33 to 35) 17 year old girl, 14, 11 year old boys from Vadakara
36) 32-year-old native of Changarote.
 37) 25 year old native of Kayakodi.
 38 to 50) 40, 50, 60, 70, 47, 40, 73, 40, 43, 36, 24, 26, 40 years old women from Nadapuram
51 to 52) 32, 45, year old Nadapuram natives
 53 to 59) 16,10, 12, 5, 15 year old giryl, 17, 9 year old boys from Nadapuram
 60 to 62) 23 year old male, 48 year old female, 17 year old girl from Kozhikode Corporation
 These people are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College and FLTC NIT.
 63) 22-year-old Moodadi native, came from Kyrgystan on July 3 at Kochi.Then he reached Kozhikode and was under house quarantine.
He was tested at Medical College on July 12 following symptoms. He is currently being treated there after the result came positive.
 64) 38 year old native of Azhiyoor.  Who fell in an accident and got injured on July 13th. He then underwent surgery on July 14 at a private hospital. His sample was taken for testing and then he was sent to Medical College where he is now under treatment.

 10,11) 32, 22 years old, residents of Kozhikode Corporation
 12) 45 year old from Kozhikode Corporation
 13) 57 year old native of Pathanamthitta
 14) 26 year old from Malappuram
 15) 42 year old native of Tamil Nadu
 Today, 1,956 samples were sent for testing.  Out of a total of 24,899 samples sent, 24,127 results were recieved.  Of these, 23,588 are negative.  The results of 772 samples sent for testing are yet to be obtained.
 At present 260 Kozhikode residents are undergoing treatment For Covid 19.  Of these, 64 are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College, 78 at First Line Treatment Center Kozhikode Lakshadweep Guest House, 110 at Kozhikode NIT FLTC, 3 at Kannur, 3 at Malappuram, 1 at Thiruvananthapuram and 1 at Ernakulam.  Apart from this, one from Malappuram, two from Pathanamthitta, one from Kasaragod, one from Kollam, one from Alappuzha and two from Wayanad are undergoing treatment at Covid First Line Treatment Center, one from Thrissur, one from Kollam, one from Malappuram and one from Kozhikode Medical College.
 793 new people under observation
 Today, there are a total of 15,114 people under surveillance in the district, including 793 newcomers.  So far 65,657 people in the district have completed the observation.  Today, 353 people are being monitored in hospitals, including 107 newcomers.  Of these, 156 are in Medical College and 90 are in the Covid First Line Treatment Center at Lakshadweep Guest House in Kozhikode.  107 people are also being monitored at the NIT Covid First Line Treatment Center.  42 people were discharged today.
   A total of 7,755 immigrants are under surveillance, including 209 who arrived in the district today.  Of these, 632 are under the care of Covid care centers set up by the district administration, 7,039 in homes and 84 in hospitals.  Of those monitored at home, 74 were pregnant women. So far, 17,667 immigrants have completed their observation period.
        Health workers in the district visited various centers and led Covid prevention activities such as screening, awareness and hygiene testing.  Six people were given counseling today through the Mental Health Helpline to reduce mental stress.  282 people were served over the phone as part of their efforts to reduce the stress.  Today, 5,214 volunteers visited 15,519 houses in the district and conducted awareness programs.
