CPI(M) criticism against ministers’ actions

The ongoing Kozhikode district conference of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) witnessed sharp criticism from delegates against the performance of some ministers.

KK Lathika’s defeat in Kuttyadi constituency and huge fall in vote share in Perambra constituency from where minister for Excise T.P.Ramakrishnan was elected also became hot topics of discussion in the CPI(M) meet.

Health minister KK Shailaja’s controversial spectacle issue could have been avoided, some representatives opined. Shailaja was present on the occasion.

Shailaja had reportedly purchased a pair of costly spectacles.

As per the reports, the minister spent  Rs.28,000 for her eye wears and re-reimbursed its price from the government treasury.

Similarly most of the area committees raised their voice against the commission which was formed to find out the reason behind the fall in voteshare in Perambra constituency.

Party delegates also criticized the leadership for not taking any action against party workers who stabbed in the back in Kuttyadi constituency,a stronghold of CPI(M) where KK Lathika lost her sitting seat.
