Disha brings joy to sick children

Olappeeppi, a stall arranged by Disha catches attention of students and parents at Malabar Christian College, the main venue of Calicut University inter-zone festival.

Disha volunteers make you aware of their mission. Here, people buy small gifts and Disha volunteers will send it to children, who are suffering from critical illness. It is like a surprise to them. As ES Vishnu, secretary of the Kozhikode unit said,

”One small gift brings immense joy to the sick children. And, it is being sent with the donor’s address. ”

Disha is a social mission by a group of students from different places. This small service system is their bonding factor.

“We also engage in blood donation and distribution of books and study tools to poor students at tribal colonies. Our volunteers attend ill-children at their homes and organize trips to make them happy.”-says Vishnu, BA Malayalam student at Govt.College, Koduvally.
