The 18th annual conference of Calicut University Employees’ Forum held on the University campus on Friday alleged nefarious and clandestine activities aimed at harassing and victimizing the employees at the behest of the University Registrar’s office.
The Forum in a resolution at the meeting condemned such activities and wanted the authorities to put an end to the anti employees attitude being followed by them.

Forum has also called for urgent steps to publish the rank lists for the posts of Assistants and Peons in the University, for which interviews were held as early as in 2014, but the appointments are unreasonably delayed. The LBS has conducted the written test for the 350 vacant Assistant posts in the University and the Varsity has also completed the interviews for the successful candidates in June, 2015.
There are nearly 100 vacant peon posts in the University. The non- publication of rank lists for these posts raises serious doubts, Forum alleged. The Forum warned that it would launch agitations soon over the inordinate delay in the publication of rank lists with the unemployed youth.
