Ernakulam marches ahead in athletics meet
Athulya .P of Nattika Govt.Fisheries HSS Thrissur broke national record on Sunday in the 59th Kerala Schools Athletics Meet.
She broke Athira Muralidharan’s 28.19 state record by securing 30.36 in Sub Junior Girls discus throw and Seema’s national record of 35.30.
Ernakulam district is leading in the athletics meet with 105 points.Palakkad is running behind with 76 points.
Kozhikode is maintaining third place with 40 points.
Kothamangalam Mar Basil School’s performance is the decisive factor in Ernakulam’s edge.
Gowri Nandana of St.Thomas Girls HSS Perumanoor won gold in 100 metre race in Sub Junior Girls category on Sunday (13:44).
