MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute has started free bus service from Kozhikode Railway Station for patients and their bystanders. Kozhikode railway station manager Joseph Mathew flagged off the bus service, today. The timings for bus service are 8.45 am, 2 pm and 7.30 pm. The buses will start from RMS office compound inside the railway station.
MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute (MVRCCRI) is a world-class cancer care facility at Choloor, Chathamangalam, Kozhikode. The hospital, which has been build at an investment of Rs 350 crore, provides free treatment to 30% of all patients. MVRCCRI is a unit of Cancer and Allied Ailments Research (CARE) Foundation, and an initiative of Calicut City Service Cooperative Bank.
