India’s solution to global health issues is here. Global Ayurveda Festival has begun at Swapna Nagari in Kozhikode. 5000 delegates from over 50 countries are expected to participate in the event. The focus of the third edition of Ayurveda Global meet is Women’s health. The meet will continue until February 4.Centre of Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) in association with government of Kerala, Native Ayurveda Fraternity and Department of Ayush, Government of India are the organizers.
The co-organizers are Ayurveda Medical Association of India, Ayurveda Hospital Management Association, Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturer’s Organization of India, Ayurveda Drug Manufacturers Association and Kerala State Indian System of Medicine Self-financing Management Association.
GAF is positioned as the destination festival on Ayurveda in Kerala to bridge the great native medicinal tradition with the global community that remains curious to gather knowledge, care, products and collaboration from India.
Twenty five speciality clinics are functional at the exhibition ground, free of cost. Five hundred stalls, various government and non-government agencies showcase their services and products, live treatment clinics, workshops and the like are other major attractions of the event.
