Goa conquers Kerala

A charged Goan players’ aggressive moves made some dramatic and exciting  moments and the Kerala team lost at last by fighting till the last moment.Kerala seemed to be unlucky by missing near goal chances just touching the goal posts.With today’s failure,Kerala lost its chance in the semifinal.

Girish Naik of Goa won the first goal in the first half through a  free kick.In injury time second half,Marcus Mascarenhas won Goa’s prestigious second goal,shocking Kerala players.He was using the cross by Nicholas Fernandes.

In the very beginning of the play Goan players were seen very aggressive by moving swiftly and smartly to beat a confident Kerala in their home ground.

A large number of audience  witnessed the ill-faith of the hosting team.An army of Kozhikode’s football fans were set ready to celebrate a victory.Today’s loss is something unimaginable  to the football fans,here.

However,the play was exciting and sometimes there were many quarrels and clashes in the ground between rival players.

In th first half Kerala’s Jijo Joseph connected a cross by Suhail but didn’t turn goal.Kerala’s second great lead was in the 20th minute,but that too turned failure.

In the 70th minute Vahid Sali’s lead just missed with the powerful defense of Goan goal keeper,Albino Gomus.

In the 34th minute Jimshad’s move also excited the gallery but Kerala was unlucky to miss those chances either as offside or by touching goal posts.

In the 58th and  59th minute,Jimshad.U and  Shyju Mon made great moves, shaking the gallery into exciting moments.Unfortunately the ball  went outside the goal post.
