Health minister K.K.Shailaja will visit Chagaroth Panchayath at 3.15 pm in Peramabra,Kozhikode and discuss with central medical team ,regarding the reported deaths of viral fever,that is contagious.

Nurse died of suspected NIPAH virus

Meanwhile ,the nurse at Perambra Taluk Hospital died of the deadly virus disease.Lini (31),hailing from Chempanoda in Kozhikode had taken care the siblings who were affected the NIPAH virus.
It is believed that she had contracted the disease from one of the virus-affected patients.However,the nurse’s death has not yet confirmed as NIPAH by health authorities.
