Holy Ramadan,environment day,Yoga… Mann Ki Baat touches contemporary life

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to love the Nature and go back to basics is the best message at the time of World Environment Day,which falls on June 5.

He was addressing the nation through ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Narendra Modi began his speech by greeting the Muslim community during the holy Ramadan season.
He added that new national  campaigns would be implemented during the environment day observation.
He said holy Ramadan sends the message of peace,unity and compassion.
India is land of variety.Here,different religions,castes,cultures and tradition go hand in hand.
The P.M also urged people to practice Yoga to become stress-free.
“The practice of yoga helps people to stay healthy both physically and mentally.”
He was commenting on the world Yoga Day,which falls on June 21.
Modi asked people to share their yoga practicing pictures with three generations.
“Grandparents,children,and grandchildren together practice yoga.It would be interesting to the whole world.”-Modi said while mentioning the importance of the day.
He said he had sent letters to the heads of every country to remind the day’s prominence.
