India’s voice is one and strong. “Bring back our brave fighter V.Abinandan,  the Wing Commander safely”,goes the online posts across the Social Media.

People are saluting and offering their prayers for the safe return of the  Indian Air-force pilot who has been kept in captivity by Pakistan military, followed by air fight on Tuesday. The whole world is stood behind India to fight back terrorism. However, some countries

like China are indirectly supporting Pakistan. Social Media users are saluting the Indian hero who replied “I am not supposed to tell you ” to Pakistan military ,when asked “What is your mission?”

He was asked many questions, but refused to reply  any details on his fighting mission.

Since Pulwama terrorist attack, the bilateral relations with Pakistan is  in an off mode.Even if Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Kha tnold to media, his willingness to engage in a discussion, there is no official version from Pakistan about that.

And,India believes that it is just a face-off statement to cover up Pulwama attack.

Abinandan  Varthaman belongs to Tamil Nadu and has inherited a great bravery from his father Air Marshal Simhakkutty Varthaman (Rtd) who had been serving the force   during the Kargil war.

Abinandan’s spouse Sqn Ldr Tanvi Marwaha (Retd) has also served Indian military.

Abinandan has been serving Indian Air Force for the last sixteen years.

His jet was shot down by Pakistan army as the retaliation of India’s airstrike.

India has demanded secure release of Abinandan as Geneva convention ensures decent treating of soldiers taken in custody by enemy military.
