Jaivajyothy,Kudumbasree initiative for organic farming

Do you need a technical support for a terras vegetable farming in organic manner? No need to worry.Kudumbasree’s ‘Green Technicians’ will rush to your help in organic vegetable farming.

This horticulture method has been inaugurated in the city.

Minister for Panchayath and social justice Dr.M.K.Muneer inaugurated the Jaivajyiothy program initiated by the Kudumbasree workers at a residential apartment at Thondayad in Kozhikode on Friday.

Grobag making, gro bag refilling are the other  services being provided by  skilled technicians under this mission.

There are 23 green technicians who are part of the Jaivajyothy.

Poison -free vegetable is the slogan of Green technicians. The service of these technicians will be available in the whole district.

The minister  offered his support for promoting organic vegetable farming.

This technician group will act as independent entrepreneurs for supporting the vegetable farmers .All technical and scientific informations will be provided for the farmers, as per this project.

For better results, traditional as well as modern methods will be clubbed to make the vegetable farming more productive .

The team will provide technical support to group farming members, and residential organisations, and self-help groups too in an affordable rate.

The vegetable products will be collected through 73 facilitation centres and will be marketed .

An outlet for selling organic vegetables is on the cards.

Corporation Mayor Prof.A.K.Premajam presided over the function.

Green technician logo was released by Kudumbasree executive member Kunhammed. He distributed the kit also.

This project is being supported by the Mahila Kisan Saktheekaran  Pariyojana.
