Kerala government is supporting a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation into the death of Jishnu Pranoy, Pampadi Engineering College student, says Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan .
Talking to media persons here after visiting CPI (M) Kozhikode district committee office at which two steel bombs were hurled by miscreants few days ago.
Pinarayi said there was no legal hurdles on the CBI probe issue and this was communicated to Director General of Police and the parent.
Earlier Ashokan, father of the deceased had submitted a representation to the Chief Minister demanding a CBI probe into the issue.
The 18-year engineering student allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his hostel room in Thrissur in January.
