In the first set Kerala secured 25 against Karnataka’s 19.The hosting team began with a score in the first set.Terin (16) won the opening score for Kerala.Throughout the first set,Kerala showed dominance.
Meanwhile Karnataka won the second set by scoring 25 against Kerala’s 23.Again,third set came in favour of Kerala,scoring 26 against Karnataka’s 24.
The fourth set really shocked Karnataka when Kerala gained 25 against the neighboring team’s 12.
Through out the first set Karnataka could not show a sign of beating Kerala.
However,in the second set Karnataka maintained a lead even if it was too narrow.One to three,that was the maximum margin Karnataka secured against Kerala in this round.
Captain Tiji Raju’s smashes during the decisive moments of the game really benefited the hosting team.
In the third set Karnataka maintained a good lead in for long time thanks to captain Nishya Joseph’s smash tactics and Sharons defense.
With the very beginning of the fourth set,Karnataka’s destiny was decided.Kerala’s attack really shocked the neighboring team along with a shattering gallery of home volley fans.
In the beginning, Kerala showed narrow lead .When Sruthi.M began to serve, Kerala brightened with good score and won the game.
