Kozhikode Aster Mims honors rescuers at Karipur plane crash on World Trauma Day
On the occasion of World Trauma Day, Kozhikode Aster MIMS Hospital honored the survivors of the Karipur plane crash, the biggest trauma in the country in 2020. Kozhikode and Malappuram district collectors, taxi drivers and locals who led the rescue mission were honored by Aster MIMS Hospital.
Kozhikode District Collector Samba Sivarao said that it was the goodwill and helpful attitude of Malabar that prevented this big accident from becoming a bigger tragedy. Malappuram District Collector Gopalakrishnan said that timely and sensible interventions of officials and local people are much worthy and appreciable even beyond words.
Siddique received a gift from a taxi driver and Suresh EP received a gift from a local rescue worker. Head of the Orthopedic Department, Dr. Aster MIMS, Kozhikode. Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Head of Emergency Department, Venugopalan PP handed over the gifts.
