62 lakhs for modern toilets in schools of Koduvalli municipality
The project worth Rs 62 lakh has been approved for the construction of toilets, said the vice chairman of the corporation
AP Majeed informed the Master. Koduvalli Govt. Higher Secondary School (20 lakhs), Vennakkad GUP School (15 lakhs), Thalapparumanna GMLP School (10 lakhs), Kalaranthiri GLP School (10 lakhs) and Palakutty AMLP School (7.03 lakhs) were given to the city.

Labor Minister TP Ramakrishnan inaugurated the construction of Unnikunnu drinking water project at Cheriyaveettil in Perambra Grama Panchayat. The project is being completed using `31 lakh from District and Grama Panchayat funds and` 36 lakh from Bharat Petroleum Company Limited Public Welfare Fund. The amount was donated by Bharat Petroleum Company Limited as part of the Minister’s intervention.
