Kozhikode’s teacher Rajneesh Henry , Vice President of World Blind Cricket Council
Cricket Association of Blind in Kerala General Secretary Rajneesh Henry has been elected as the Vice President of the World Blind Cricket Council. South Africa’s NDUMISO NYANOSE was defeated by eight votes to two at the 21st Annual General Body Meeting held online. Syed Sultan Shah is the President of Pakistan and Raymond Moxley is the General Secretary of Australia.
Apart from being the General Secretary of CABK, Rajneesh Henry is also the Senior Vice President of the Cricket Association for the Blind in India and the Director of Asian Blind Cricket Development. Rajneesh Henry, a teacher at Mananchira Model Government Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode, was the organizer of the Asia Cup and World Cup for the visually impaired in Kerala.
The meeting decided to hold the 3rd Twenty20 World Cup for the visually impaired next year and to give more importance to women’s cricket.
