Kummanam has a tough task ahead

Kummanam Rajasekharan has been appointed as the new president of Kerala unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He is one of the top leaders of Hindu Aikya Vedi and Sangh Parivar.
His tough stands on environmental issues became a hot topic of discussion within Kerala and outside.
He fought against the move for giving environmental clearance to Aranmula Airport.
Kummanam had a good bond with almost all pro-Hindu leaders in the state.
He is expecting the same support from the organisations in his new role as a political leader.
He had shared venues with many firebrand Hindu leaders. One was, late Swami Sathyananda Saraswathy of Sree Rama Dasa Ashramam,Thiruvananthapuram.

Both of them had long time discussions for the revival of a larger Hindu unity.
Now he has got another task ,that of taking into consideration SNDP and NSS.
Apart from all these organizational diplomacy, only few month left to lead his party into a decisive assembly poll.
The central leadership of BJP is expecting not just an account-opening.
One fraction of the party is not in good terms with the SNDP tie-ups.This group is afraid of Bharath Dharma Jan Sena (BDJS),the political wing of Vellappally Natesan, hijacking the state party missionary.
Another thing he wants to tackle is the real estate business lobbies who are against his green politics.
