District Collector urges public,traders to be cautious of further spread during lock down relaxation

The lock down relaxation granted in A, B and C areas on July 18, 19 and 20 should be used with caution by traders and the public to prevent the spread of Covid pandemic,urged Kozhikode District Collector Narasimhugaru Tej Lohit Reddy . The number of patients in the district is on the rise. So, care should be taken to keep away from crowded situations.
Businesses must strictly adhere to social distancing, masks and sanitizers.
Strict action will be taken against institutions that operate openly without complying with the Covid protocol. There will be a police check in the city to seize vehicles that are believed to be traveling unnecessarily. There will be special monitoring to control the congestion on SM Street. People buying goods from the markets in their respective areas can help reduce congestion in the city. It has been directed to deploy police in the markets to avoid congestion. The District Collector also said that people from D-category local bodies should not travel to other places to buy goods.
