Kerala State Co-operative Bank is organizing a special campaign in the Kozhikode region from October 1 to 31 in connection with the disbursement of long-term agricultural / agri-related loans with NABARD funding.
The campaign is aimed at rescuing farmers from the Covid crisis and promoting agro / agro-based ventures.
Construction of plantations, purchase of agricultural machinery such as high-tech-greenhouse-polyhouse farming, tractors, power tillers, harvesting-hoeing machines, digging of wells for agricultural purposes, construction of existing boreholes, upgrading of existing wells, drip irrigation, lift irrigation. The loans will be available for a maximum of 15 years for various ventures such as handicrafts, bund making, fencing, bee keeping, cow, buffalo, buffalo and goat rearing, fish farming and poultry farming. The loans will be disbursed as per the directions of NABARD after conducting a detailed examination of the projects submitted by the farmers.
