Low Pressure in the Arabian Sea: Fishing banned from 28th midnight.
By May 31st, the south east of Arabian sea , between Lakshdweep and Kerala, not much far from Kerala coast, a chance of formation of low pressure is possible according to the Central Metrology Department. . They also informed the possibility of the formation of another low pressure at the south west of Arabian sea by 29th.
On the basis of the reports, the fishing in Kerala will be stopped from 28th completely. The fishermen far away in the sea are asked to be back by 28th or reach a safe coast by the time. After May 28th nobody should go out in the sea for fishing. The Fisheries Sector and the coastal police will look into it.
Due to the low pressure, there is a chance of heavy rain, wind and the sea would be rough. The fishing equipments are to be kept safe from the sea attacks. Due to heavy rain, the low- lying areas have the risk of flooding and the high altitude places have risks of landslides. Hence, camps will be set in the areas with the rist of flood and landslides.
