Mobile soil testing lab
District Panchayath president Babu Parassery inaugurated mobile soil testing lab.The unit will travel to various places in the district and test soil.Know the soil and farm accordingly is the policy of this initiative.
Babu Parassery said the district panchayath wanted to empower agriculture sector. Farms have been opened at Koothali,Thikkodi,Puthuppadi and Perambra as part of agriculture promotion.
New outlets have been opened at various places to distribute saplings and seeds of vegetables.
