Mohan’s touch brings ‘life’ to coconut shells

When a coconut shell (Chiratta)reaches to Manmohan (Mohanan) it turns to wonderful piece of art.He has created different  forms such as  tortoises, crabs, fishes, flowers, pen holders,flower-bases,jars,cups and even trophies and many more…
He used this medium to make beautiful pieces of art during leisure. However,he didn’t want to show his art works to anybody else other than his family circle,in the beginning,
Meanwhile, his niece ,Jisha, a craft teacher accidentally noticed her uncle’s handicraft wonders. She encouraged him to go ahead with his art and she wanted his  works to be known to the world.
She took these pieces and showed some people.Appreciation comments  and encouraging words poured out upon him, from the people who watched these aesthetic creations.
“I use only coconut shell and Fevicol adhesive “-said Mohanan. He has been working on crafts for the last two years.
