Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Monday said more cities in Kerala would be included in Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transportation (Amrit) project.He said that his government is taking efforts to get the approval from the central government for this.
He was inaugurating the Amrit project’s state level inauguration at the Kozhikode town hall.
Six corporations in the state are already included in the scheme along with Guruvayur,Palakkad and Alappuzha municipalities.
Urban affairs minister Manjalam Kuzhi Ali presided over the function.
Panchayath Minsiter Dr.M.K.Muneer,M.K.Rgahavan M.P,Mayor V.K.C.Mammad Koya were among the speakers.
