National Games volley semi:Kerala men crush Services

The semi final match between Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu ……..

Kerala grabbed a stunning victory in the volley ball semi final (men) conquering the aggressive fighters of Services at  V.K.Krishna Menon indoor stadium in Kozhikode,tonight.

Passionate volley fans in Kozhikode embraced the victorious stars of Kerala team. Volley fans in the city and suburban places are so much excited and really celebrating Kerala’s semi final victory.

It was really a power packed game for  both the teams and each side enabled their possible tactics to win the match.

Kerala fans didn’t expect nothing less than an emphatic victory. Kerala team was under pressure in some moments when Services players really challenged the hosting team many times.

In the first set,Services maintained lead (27-25) against Kerala.But,lucky Kerala players got chances to bounce back to the real performance and showed a victorious score in the second set .(25-22)

Kerala  repeated the prestigious lead in a neck and neck fight with equally powerful Services team.There were some moments Kerala fans desperately shouting for victory.

Suspense and anxieties gripped the home team and fans.The background support was immeasurable.

Gradually Kerala team took the energetic performance and crushed Services in the fourth and fifth sets (25-11),and (25-14) and entered in the final.

A roaring gallery flowed down to embrace the winning stars and express their uncontrolled passion towards the team.

Kozhikode V.K.Krishna Menon indoor stadium witnessed a jam packed audience to watch the National Games volley ball semi finals.Hundreds of people watched the event outside the gallery on the big screen,thanks to the enormous rush to the venue.When the number of audience became more than the seating capacity,police have closed entry.

Tamil Nadu’s volley fighters defeated a powerful Rajasthan in another semi final today and entered the final.

Tamil Nadu and Kerala enter the final of the 35TH National Games volley ball (men) at Indoor stadium in Kozhikode.
