National Games:Rajasthan enters mens’ volley semi

In an exciting game, Rajasthan defeated Punjab in men’s volley ball group B match   ( 25-22,25-24,25-22)and entered semi final of the National Games men’s volley ball at V.K.Krishna Menon indoor stadium,Kozhikode. Even if Rajasthan had a slight dominance in the beginning stage of the game,Punjab fought well giving  a neck and neck fight,gradually.In second and set match,Punjab maintained lead for one or two scores and showed equal score many times.

Rajasthan defenders really concerned quick smashes of Punjab players.

In another challenging match  ,Kerala women won against West Bengal (25-17,25-19,25-21)

Meanwhile, Kerala men entered the semifinals after beating Rajasthan 25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 25-20 in their second group match on Tuesday.Volleyball1

Kerala women beat Karnataka 25-15, 25-17, 25-20 earlier in the day. With two wins in the group, Kerala now has a good chance of entering the semis.

Kozhikode received the National Games volley ball as they did in the case of football matches.Indoor stadium was almost packed.

The organisers have arranged big screen facility to those who are unable to watch the games inside the indoor stadium.
