Nava Kerala People’s Party (NKPP) was born; will contest in local body elections

Kochi: A new political party called Navakerala People’s Party was formed. The district and regional units of the party will soon be formed with Jose Francis as president, Ajeesh Baby as secretary and Rubin Skaria as treasurer. The party’s flag and emblem were unveiled at a press conference at the Press Club. The NKPP will be contesting in the local body elections to be held this year, party leaders said at a press conference. The manifesto for the election was also released as part of this.

The leaders said that the NavKerala People’s Party is a group of educated people who have been formed to give a new sense of economic and professional direction to the people in the present situation where people are facing financial and occupational insecurity globally. Many educated youth in Kerala are facing unemployment due to wrong economic policies and lack of planning. Apart from this, there are expatriates who lose their jobs and return home. The leaders said the main objective of the NKPP was to ensure employment and financial security for them.

The successive fronts in Kerala have shown great indifference in dealing with the problems of educated youth and expatriates. This is still going on. These people who come to power by making seductive promises do not try to implement anything other than announcing various projects.

A proper economic base is essential to improve the economic condition of the state. It first needs to change the notoriety of a state that does not have a proper work culture. Lack of proper work culture is the main reason for the industrial insecurity in the country. The leaders said that the party is putting forward the necessary plans and programs for this.

The announcement also marked the beginning of the Navakerala People’s Party’s first people’s project to enable the natives and expatriates who lost their jobs to engage in agriculture and allied occupations. NKPP President Jose Francis, Secretary Ajeesh Baby and Treasurer Rubin Skaria were present at the press conference.
