She was inaugurating a workshop on women empowerment”APARAJITHA’,being organised by the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board, at K.P.Kesava Menon Hall in Kozhikode on Friday.

The empowered women alone can build an empowered society.The society must be moving ahead without any gender discrimination.
The measuring scale of a country’s culture is deeply connected with the state of women in that country-she said.

M.G.University Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr.Sheena Shukkoor delivered the keynote address.
Dr.Sheena said that where to begin the empowerment is important.
Since the school education itself ,we should inculcate the lesson of gender equality-she said.
