‘No shift in stand’- Kanthapuram’s statement will have impact in many issues

We are firm in our stand and there is no change in that”-Mrkazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya general secretary leader Kanthapuram AP Aboobecker Musliar’s reply during a press meet in the backdrop of Markaz ruby jubilee celebrations will have socio-political impact in Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate Markaz 40 th anniversary celebrations at Karanthur,the headquarter of Mrakaz institutions.
Through out the press meet ,Kanthapuram tried to keep away from any controversial statement.He faced questions from media crew in a diplomatic manner.However,the AP Sunni supremo’s words will have socio-political and religious impact in Kerala society,believe independent thinkers.

Markaz meet will have separate sessions  to discuss many hot topics that affect its community including Mutalaq bill,Women alone Hajj package,The pro-Hindutva agenda of BJP government etc.

He said that Markaz is not against BJP or any political parties.

Kanthapuram believes that there was a political agenda behind forming “united force aginst the center’s alleged ant-secular move.”

However,the Sunni leader didn’t deny its declared  stand against some controversial issues like Mutalaq.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is highlighting Mutalaq bill’s benefits  in his speeches,recently.

Modi’s Man-ki-baat tries to focus women only Hajj package.

However,in the Mutalaq issue, the Sunni stand was not supportive.So,the recent statement will give energy to campioagners against Mutalaq.

These topics are said to be sensitive in the Sunni policy. Being a conservative Muslim organization,the Sunni stand will have political consequence.

AP section of the Sunnis have greta role in shaping political agenda in the state during elections. Some of the top Muslim league leaders are sharply monitoring the Sunni stand in coming days.
