Eranhipalam UL Care Nayanar Sadanam has started an online drawing class for differently abled adults. The classes were inaugurated by renowned painter, sculptor and playwright Paul Kallanode. The first batch of 20 was launched online.
The classes are jointly organized by the ULCCS Foundation, a social responsibility initiative of the Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society and Sargalaya Craft Village, another subsidiary of the ULCCS. It is the part of an initiative to promote the artistic talents of differently abled individuals and to involve them in collective action during the lockdown period.
Ashok Kumar, an experienced art teacher and art designer at Sargalaya, is leading the classes. ULCCS Foundation Director Dr. M. K. Jayaraj presided over the function where P. Bhaskaran, CEO, Sargalaya was the Chief Guest. A. Abhilash Shankar, P. Thankamani, Principal, Nayanar Sadanam and others participated.
