BJP state president K Surendran said that terrorist groups had set up more than seven parallel telephone exchanges in Kozhikode for the accused in the Ramanattukara gold smuggling case.
“The gold smuggling gang is operating with the public support of terrorist forces. The involvement of CPM leaders in the parallel telephone exchange should be investigated as it has been proven that they are gold smugglers with close links to top CPM leaders. The incidents of treason have taken place in Kozhikode. The telephone exchange was based in Pakistan. Surendran also demanded that the Kerala Police bring these matters to the notice of the central agencies.”=he said.
He was speaking to the media after receiving the first book from renowned writer MT Vasudevan Nair at the library of the newly inaugurated BJP Kozhikode district office, Mararji Bhavan. State Secretary P Raghunath, District President VK Sajeevan and Yuva Morcha District Vice President Nipin Krishnan were also present at the function held at the residence of MT in Kozhikode.
