PM Modi’s Calicut visit: SPG reviews security measures

The Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel ,which is in charge of Prime Minister’s security conducted inspection at BJP National Council Meet venues ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit .
The team assisted by city police commissioner and intelligent officers took stock of the situation. BJP leaders also were present during SPG visit.
Foolproof security arrangements are being made ahead of Prime Minister Nraendra Modi’s visit.
The prime minister , union ministers and top BJP leaders will participate in the three day national event beginning on Sept 23.
Sea,air and road transportation are being monitored by central agencies to arrange tight security in the city.
BJP national president Amit Shah will arrive in the city on Thursday,said BJP state general secretary K. Surendran in a press meet.
Amit Shah will arrive at Karipur airport on 22 at 11 am.

BJP workers from Kozhikode and Malappuram district will receive the party president. Hundreds of vehicles will escort Amit Shah during his travel from the airport to Kozhikode.
Before leaving to Calicut city,Amit Shah will address party workers from the airport.
The party president will evaluate the progress of party meet during his stay at Kadavu Resort.
