Rain havoc; 29 killed; Red alert continues

The torrential rain in central-and north Kerala hit normal life. 29 people are killed in the rain fury.Red alert has been declared in flood-hit district in Kerala.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has urged people to keep more alert in the wake of another heavy rain forecast by the department of Meteorology (MET).As per the prediction,heavy rain will continue until August 13,Monday.

In his Facebook page,Pinarayi Vijayan requested the public to co-operate with volunteers and police officers in emergency situations.The CM said people should not delay to shift to safer places ,when concerned officials demand.
