Renault India today reported 80 per cent sales in August 2020, a growth of 41 per cent over the same period last year. Renault India Sales and Marketing Vice President Thomas Dubreuel said the recently launched petrol turbo 1.3 MT and CVT version of the Duster was also receiving a positive reception, adding that dealerships had expanded with the addition of 17 new sales and service touch points, with Renault now having 390 outlets and more than 470 service centers in India.
The Manual and the newly introduced AMT have been well received by Triber in August. Newer versions of the Quid make the range more attractive and affordable. The best features available in this category set Renault apart. The latest Duster is the most powerful SUV in this segment. A product that is cheaper and better than its competitors.
Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals, including AMD in the Quid and Tribe and CVT in the Duster Turbo. The growing popularity of the brand is indicated by the increasing demand and recognition in the rural markets. Rural sales account for about 25 percent of Renault sales.
In addition, Renault is in constant contact with its network partners to develop strategies to strengthen its market presence. Renault also offers a ‘No EMI for the first four months’ offer to new customers. There are also special festive offers in selected markets.
